J-D Middle School musicians take part in OCMEA Festival

29 Jamesville-DeWitt Middle School musicians recently participated in the Onondaga Music Educators Association (OCMEA) Elementary All-County Music Festival. Students were recommended by their band, chorus, and orchestra teachers to be accepted into the ensembles.  OCMEA hosts several festivals each year for young musicians. Students in 7th grade Flex were recently tasked with researching an important American who they thought deserved their own holiday at Jamesville-DeWitt Middle School. “The Little Mermaid Jr.” is sure to make a splash
