We are pleased to report that all water outlets typically used for drinking or cooking did not exceed the acceptable standard for levels of lead. Action is required if lead levels above 15 parts per billion are detected at a specific water outlet. Ninety-three (93) samples were collected at Tecumseh. Of those, one tested above the acceptable level, a sink in the Pupil Personnel Services Office. That outlet has been turned off. Once the fixture is replaced, the water will again be tested to assure the water meets the acceptable standard for lead levels.
