Planning for your child’s future education can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. That’s why the Jamesville-DeWitt Central School District is passing along this free community resource opportunity to help families get a head start on saving for college and career training.
The office of New York State Senator Christopher Ryan is partnering with the NYS Comptroller’s Office to host an informative, tax-free 529 College Savings Information Session on Thursday, June 25 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Clay Town Hall (4401 NY-31, Clay).

- Exactly what a 529 college savings plan is and how it works.
- How it helps you save for future education expenses while offering great tax benefits.
- The incredible benefits of starting an account, even with small, flexible contributions.
- A step-by-step guide on exactly how to open and manage an account.
