District prepares to welcome two new staff members

The Jamesville-DeWitt Central School District is excited to announce the upcoming addition of two staff members. The Board of Education approved the appointments at their February 27 meeting. 

Jason Douglass will fill the role of Director of Technology following the retirement of Phil Luckette who will retire at the end of March. Mr. Douglass joins us from Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES. He has extensive experience in leading and supporting technology programs at school districts. Mr. Douglass begins March 15. 

In July, Brian Bartlett will join the district as School Business Administrator. A couple of interim professionals have been fulfilling the role since the loss of Timothy Decker. Mr. Bartlett comes from the Norwich Central School District, and is a certified Professional School District Business Leader. He will lead all aspects of the business office and provide leadership to non instructional departments.
