District Communications: stay connected and informed

The Jamesville-DeWitt Central School District aims to be your first and best source of district-related information. We will utilize the following platforms to communicate with you throughout the 2025-26 school year.

ParentSquare

Stay informed about news, activities, events, and emergencies all in one place. Get important and timely updates from the district, schools, and teachers. Connect using both private messages with your child’s teacher(s) and through general group posts for classrooms and schools.

A Community ParentSquare Group is also available for members of the community who do not have students active in the district. Enroll to receive important and timely district-level messages about pre-K enrollment, building projects, budget votes, events and more.

SchoolTool

J-D’s student management system. This password protected secure website offers parents, guardians and students online access to personalized information about a student’s academic program and progress. Student report cards, interim reports and academic schedules can be found here.

Website/Newsletters

Important district updates and articles highlighting students and staff can be found under “News and Announcements” on the district website. Print newsletters will also be mailed to the community throughout the school year.

Social Media

Please take a moment to follow the district on Facebook. The page strives to celebrate the J-D school community and highlight positive things happening across the district.
