We invite you to be an active member of our Kindergarten through Fourth Grade community of learners. Our professional staff is dedicated to providing a meaningful, challenging educational experience for all our children. We are committed to the mission of the Jamesville-Dewitt Central School District.

The well-rounded educational experience in which your children will be engaged in will help them to become successful learners and participating members of our school community and society. Our emphasis of respect of one's self, others, and the environment is a consistent message experienced throughout our school. I invite you to be an active participant in your child’s education through participation in our PTG, various family activities, and/or volunteering in the classroom.

I invite you to sign up for the Moses DeWitt Email Blast.  The MD Blast is an informational source about our school that arrives periodically via your email to help keep you informed of school happenings that may be of interest to you.  To sign up to receive information and updates via the MD Blast, please use the icon to the left.
If you have trouble signing up for the email blast, or if you have other questions or comments, please telephone the school office 445-8370, email, or stop by the school.
Moses DeWitt Test Results for Lead in Potable Water
All water outlets typically used for drinking or cooking did not exceed the acceptable standard for levels of lead. 52 samples were collected at Moses DeWitt. Three tested above the acceptable level, a sink in the library, computer lab and a pot washing sink in the café. kitchen. The outlets in the library and computer lab have been turned off.  Once the fixtures are replaced, the water will again be tested to assure the water meets the acceptable standard for lead levels. The pot washing sink in the kitchen will be labeled as “non-potable water for washing only”, as specified by state regulation.
