BOARD OF EDUCATION APPOINTS ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT FOR CURRICULUM, INSTRUCTION, AND EQUITY
The Board of Education is pleased to announce the appointment of Nate Franz as Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, and Equity. Mr. Franz will begin his new position on July 1, 2020. Nate has enjoyed a successful career as a math teacher, instructional coach, supervisor, and district leader of teaching and learning. He has over 12 years of administrative experience, most recently as Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning in the Syracuse City School District. The Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, and Equity is responsible for providing leadership of K-12 instructional programs while providing a safe, caring, inclusive, equitable, and challenging learning environment to build a community that recognizes diversity as one of our greatest strengths. Nate recognizes the importance of connecting curriculum, instruction, and equity and is very excited to help the district fulfill its mission to meet the needs of all students.
