The J-D High School Model United Nations Club participated in the 40th annual Central New York Model United Nations Conference that took place Jan. 6 and 7 at Syracuse University.
During the regional conference, student-participants acted as United Nations delegates and discussed and debated various global issues.
The following students received special recognitions:

- Mark Bratslavsky: Outstanding Delegate for Iran
- Yavuz Damkaci: Honorable Mention for Albania
