Moses DeWitt Elementary School teacher and J-D alum Elizabeth De La Roca has published a second children’s book. It features the same character in her first book, “Sal the Snowball.”
The new story, “Sal’s Summer Adventure,” follows Sal as he explores new things that aren’t so typical for a snow person and how he navigates challenges along the way. The book shares messages about being courageous, trying new things, and having fun.
“I can’t wait to share it with my new group of first graders and with the J-D community and remind them it’s never too late to try something new or follow your dreams,” shared De La Roca.
