Jamesville-DeWitt Central School District Board Member Lisa McKenney officially submitted her letter of resignation during the board’s regular meeting on Monday, Dec. 18, effective immediately.
Lisa cited a conflict of interest with her new employer as the reason for the resignation. She also shared the following:
“Thank you for the trust you have placed in me. It has been a privilege to work alongside such dedicated individuals. I wish the entire board and J-D Central School District continued success in all endeavors.”
The district would like to thank Lisa for serving our schools and community.
The board of education will discuss a plan to fill the vacant seat at its next scheduled meeting on Monday, Jan. 8, 2024.
