We’re excited to share that J-D High School senior Peter Drew has been named as a recipient of the 2025 National Spanish Exam/National Portuguese Exam Senior Scholarship, a prestigious honor awarded by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. This distinction is for seniors who score well on the National Spanish Exam and show an interest in the language and cultures.
Peter, a member of Spanish Honor Society and a Seal of Biliteracy recipient, was one of a select group of students chosen nationwide after submitting a personal essay and interview in Spanish about what has motivated him to learn another language and what he will do with his skills in the future.
