J-D students win Yom HaShoah Commemoration Narrative Competition

Four Jamesville-DeWitt High School students recently won first and second place in the Jewish Federation of Central New York’s Yom HaShoah Commemoration Narrative Competition. 

Students in grades 7-12 were invited to participate by addressing the theme, “Being Courageous in Dangerous Times,” through art, poetry, essays, and/or digital media. 

The winning works will be published in the Jewish Observer.
