We’re excited to share that Jamesville-DeWitt High School senior Leah Nemi has been named a recipient of the Joseph Adams Senior Scholarship, a prestigious honor awarded by the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica.
Leah is among a select group of students from across the country chosen for this scholarship. To be considered, she submitted a personal essay and also completed an interview in Spanish about what motivated her to learn another language and how she plans to use these skills in the future.
Leah is also vice president of the JDHS chapter of Spanish Honor Society and is in her seventh year of language study.
