J-D student artwork featured at annual NYSSBA Art Exhibit

The artwork of three Jamesville-DeWitt students was featured in the annual New York State School Boards Association (NYSSBA) annual convention Art Exhibit. Sponsored by the New York State Art Teachers Association, the exhibit highlights outstanding student artwork from across the state and provides an opportunity to showcase creativity to local school board members.

The virtual exhibit represented 10 regions and included work from both elementary and secondary students. The display was available during the NYSSBA convention, held Oct. 23-25, and will remain accessible to attendees through Dec. 31.

Submissions by Romilly Bender, Peyton Cabiles, and Nora Rovit – created while they were eighth graders at J-D Middle School – were among those selected for this prestigious exhibition. Congratulations to these talented students!
