Mrs. DeForest called the Annual Meeting and Budget Hearing to order at 7:09 p.m. in the Board Room of the District Office and via Zoom.
Mrs. DeForest welcomed members of the community and introduced Mrs. Ronna Louise, chairperson of the annual meeting and budget hearing. Mrs. Louise read the annual meeting notice.
Dr. Smith presented the $63,733,991 budget with propositions.
Mrs. Louise read the names of the four candidates running for election (three 3 year terms) to the Board of Education: Sharon Archer, Stanley Chen, Lorianne DeForest and Renee James Murad. Each candidate spoke about his or her reasons for running for the Board of Education.
Ms. Melinda Dermody and Mr. Charles Diede from the Community Library of DeWitt and Jamesville presented the Library proposition.
At 8:10 p.m. Mr. Leach moved and Mrs. Austin seconded the motion to adjourn the budget hearing.
Motion carried. (9-0-0).
