Board adopts 2025-26 District Safety Plan

The Jamesville-DeWitt Central School District Board of Education adopted the 2025-26 District Safety Plan during Monday night’s regular meeting. The plan was first presented during a public hearing on Monday, August 25. The public was given the opportunity to provide feedback.

The district and board of education evaluates the district safety plan each year in accordance with New York State’s Safe Schools Against Violence in Education (S.A.V.E.) Law. Having a comprehensive plan in place is a critical component of school management and student safety.

The district has submitted the adopted safety plan to the State Education Department.
