Jamesville-DeWitt High School is celebrating seven students whose 2025 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) scores earned them a spot in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Congratulations to:

From more than 1.3 million program entrants, these students are among the 50,000 highest-scoring participants who will be recognized as either Semifinalists or Commended Students in the fall. About 16,000 will be named Semifinalists, representing the top scorers in each state, and the other 34,000 students will be commended for their performance on the PSAT/NMSQT.

Semifinalists will have an opportunity to continue in the competition for about 6,930 Merit Scholarship awards to be offered in 2027.
