JDHS Operation Graduation 2019

JDHS Operation Graduation

Mission:  To provide a fun, safe, all-night celebration for Seniors to attend after the Ball.

The term "Operation Graduation" comes from a more nationally known event "Project Graduation", which is often a parent-coordinated event hosted around the graduation date to provide graduating seniors a safe environment to celebrate their graduation.

"Operation Graduation" is similar but hosted after the Ball, when (statistically) seniors are more likely to engage in risky behavior that results in accidents / fatalities.

Did you know an average sized water bottle (16-20oz), filled with dimes, is equal to about $100?
We encourage all students to help with this fund-raising effort and participate in the Dime Drive challenge!
Between Nov - April:  Fill an empty water bottle with dimes/spare change, cap it off, and return it to the Main Office (with your name/grade on it!)
For each bottle, Seniors earn (1) bonus raffle ticket (to increase chances to win a prize at the After-Ball party).
Grade 9-11 students earn a chance to win a JD shirt.
