The term "Operation Graduation" comes from a more nationally known event "Project Graduation", which is often a parent-coordinated event hosted around the graduation date to provide graduating seniors a safe environment to celebrate their graduation.
"Operation Graduation" is similar but hosted after the Ball, when (statistically) seniors are more likely to engage in risky behavior that results in accidents / fatalities.
The OpGrad event is…
  • Sat 6/1/2019 11:30pm – Sun 6/2/2019 3:00am.
    New location:  YMCA Fayetteville
  • Includes a variety of fun activities, snack foods/beverages, and opportunities to win items!
  • FREE to seniors & their dates.
  • Paid for by fund-raisers and family/business donations.
  • Planned & staffed by parent volunteers.
(we encourage senior participation in the planning & fund-raising where possible)
Activities to include…
  • Large scale inflatable obstacle course
  • Large group games (basketball, volleyball, floor hockey, etc)
  • Body / airbrush tattoo artist
  • Large open style photo booth
  • Lounging space
  • Pool table / foosball / party games
  • Video gaming
  • Music
  • And more!!
(sorry....the pool will not be open)

The event location, entertainment/activity vendors, food/bev, and prizes are all paid for with donations.

Did you know an average sized water bottle (16-20oz), filled with dimes, is equal to about $100?
We encourage ALL students to participate in the Dime Drive challenge!
Fill an empty water bottle with dimes/spare change, cap it off, and return it to the Main Office (with your name/grade on it!)
For each bottle, Seniors earn (1) bonus raffle ticket (to increase chance to win a prize at the event).
Grade 9-11 students earn a chance to win a JD shirt.
